Event Details
There is perhaps no other event that captures the imagination and ethos of the Vintage Sports-Car Club better than the legendary Pomeroy Trophy. It is a truly unique event, run since 1952, in which the speed and agility of pre-war cars are pitted against those of newer cars.
This year marks the 70th Anniversary and to celebrate we will be having some of the previous winners on display and we are recruiting some truly exceptional cars of all periods.
- A series of tests, culminating with 40 minutes of track time on the " Historic" Grand Prix Circuit at Silverstone.
- A truly unique event to find the best Touring Motor Car, with cars spanning 100 years competing against each other.
- Gordon Spice Cup for non-road cars.

Car Eligibility:
- Suitcases: The car must be able to carry two standard-sized VSCC suitcases.
- Hood: For tests A and B, an open car must have its hood erected, and the hood must be capable of withstanding normal road use
- Car safety: the car must meet the requirements for MSUK motorsport events.
Event Rules
- Tests: Competitors participate in a timed slalom, a straight-line acceleration test, and a brake test.
- Final session: The event concludes with a 40-minute session on the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit. This is not a race, but an exercise in completing a predetermined number of laps based on the car's age and specification.
