Established in 1927 as a speed race by Giovanni Canestrini, Franco Mazzotti, Renzo Castagneto and Aymo Maggi, 1000 Miglia is today a regularity race for historic cars that passes through the unique landscapes of the most beautiful parts of Italy.
A journey characterized by the warmth of the public and the enthusiasm of drivers, following the bold and innovative spirit of its tradition.
A week-long experience, racing for masterpieces of art and design in motion, along the classic route from Brescia to Rome and back.

Car Eligibility:
Make and model type which competed in the 1000 Miglia race between 1927 and 1957. Cars must have FIVA and Registro documentation and conform to period correct specification. Ecurie Forte can assist with obtaining correct documentation or a suitable car.
Event Rules
Following the Italian Rally regulations. The event requires participants to cover stages in specific times normally around 2 to 3 hours. During the stages, shorter tests of average or constant speed over distance typically 8km with and very short distances to precise times, between 100m and 1.5km. The more accurate you are, the better the score. The scores are then multiplied by a coefficient, typically the older the car the better the coefficient.
